DownloadTute Cabrero is a widely enjoyed card game across South America.
Played by 3 to 5 individuals, Tute Cabrero is an every-player-for-themselves game with no teams.
The goal is to score the highest or the fewest points ("going for more" or "going for less"); the player in second place loses. The game uses a 40-card Spanish deck.
Card ranks, from highest to lowest, are: Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (these have no point value).
The first card played in a trick sets the suit. Each player must follow suit if possible. If unable, any card may be played. The trump suit wins any trick. Without a trump, the highest card of the leading suit wins the trick.
