About the Hazari Game:
Hazari is a four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards, totaling 52 cards in play. The objective is to arrange your cards in descending order and be the first to call "UP." Once all players are UP, the gameplay begins with the player to the right of the dealer leading the first round.
The game progresses with players throwing cards in sets of three, followed by the last four cards. The highest card value wins the round, and the winner continues to throw the next set of cards. Points are calculated at the end of each round, with cards from Ace (A) to 10 valued at 10 points each, and cards from 9 to 2 valued at 5 points each. The ultimate goal is to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games.
In case of ties, the player who throws the higher-ranking set of cards wins. For example, if Player 1 throws AKQ of Hearts, Player 2 throws 678 of Spades, Player 3 throws AKQ of Diamonds, and Player 4 throws 55J of Hearts, Player 3 wins with AKQ of Diamonds.
Winning Combinations:
- TROY: Three of a kind (e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ, JJJ, 10-10-10, etc.).
- COLOR RUN: Three cards of the same suit in sequence (e.g., AKQ of Spades, A23 of Hearts, etc.).
- RUN: Three cards in sequence from any suit (e.g., AKQ mixed suits, A23 mixed suits, etc.).
- COLOR: Three cards of the same suit, any rank (e.g., KQ2 of Hearts, 589 of Spades).
- PAIR: Two cards of the same rank with any third card (e.g., 443, 99J, QQ6).
- INDI or INDIVIDUALS: Three cards of different ranks and suits, with the highest card determining the winner.
How to Play:
- Card Arrangement: Each player arranges their 13 cards into four sets: 3, 3, 3, and 4.
- First Round: The player to the right of the dealer throws the first set of three cards. Other players follow suit, and the highest value set wins.
- Subsequent Rounds: The winner of the previous round throws the next set of three cards, followed by the last four cards.
- Scoring: Points are tallied at the end of each game, with the first player to reach 1000 points declared the winner.
