In this intriguing card game, players engage their minds and memories to strategically manage their hand while minimizing their total score. The game begins with each player receiving four cards, all face down. At the start of each round, players are allowed to flip over two of their rightmost cards, providing a glimpse into their hand while keeping the rest concealed.
Throughout the game, all cards remain face down except for the limited instances when special cards are played. The goal is simple yet challenging: reduce the sum of your visible cards to as low a value as possible. Each turn offers three primary actions:
- Replace the center card by a card: Swap one of your face-down cards with the center card.
- Replicate a card: Discard a card from your hand and draw a new one from the deck.
- Draw a Card: Simply draw a card from the deck and decide whether to keep it or discard it.
Special cards add layers of strategy and interaction:
- Cards 7 and 8: Reveal one of your own face-down cards.
- Cards 9 and 10: Peek at a single card from another player’s hand.
- Eye Master: Reveal two of your own cards or one card from every other player’s hand (excluding yourself).
- Swap: Exchange one of your cards with another player’s without revealing either card.
- Replica: Discard any unwanted card from your hand.
The game progresses until a player calls "Skru," ending their turn and signaling the conclusion of the round after everyone else plays one final time. However, "Skru" cannot be called during the first three rounds. Once the round ends, all cards are revealed, and the player with the lowest total score earns zero points. In the event of a tie, all tied players receive zero points.
Be cautious, though—if you call "Skru" but fail to achieve the lowest score, your round score will double as punishment. Strategy, observation, and quick decision-making are key to mastering this game!
