Applin and Dynamax Entei Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

If you're a Pokémon GO trainer, get ready for some exciting updates this month as two new Pokémon from the Galar region make their debut. Whether you're drawn to the charm of Applin or the fiery power of Dynamax Entei, there's something for everyone.

Sweet Discoveries Event:
The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th and runs until April 29th, introducing trainers to the delightful Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon, Applin. This event is all about discovery, and catching Applin is just the start. To evolve it into Flapple or Appletun, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and either Tart Apples or Sweet Apples. These apples can be found scattered throughout the wild, especially around Mossy Lures, and might even trigger Applin encounters.

During this event, you'll encounter plenty of other themed Pokémon, including Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research tasks and Eggs will offer additional opportunities to catch more of these adorable creatures. Timed Research will also provide you with Sweet and Tart Apples, with premium options offering extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters, including Applin. Max Battle Weekend:
For those who prefer raw power, the Max Battle Weekend takes place on April 26th and 27th, featuring the debut of Dynamax Entei. This fiery Pokémon is perfect for trainers looking to test their skills in the Max Raid Battles. Keep your eyes peeled for a potential Shiny encounter too!

Bonuses and Rewards:
To help you prepare for these events, several bonuses will be available. During the Sweet Discoveries event, you'll enjoy an increased Max Particle cap, shorter distances required to collect them, and boosted Power Spot refresh rates. Each Power Spot visited will yield eight times more Max Particles. Free Timed Research begins on April 21st, rewarding trainers with a Dynamax Sobble to balance your team against Entei's fiery challenge.
