Mundfish announces Atomic Heart 2 is in development, alongside revealing The CUBE, a multiplayer RPG shooter set in the same universe.
A freshly released trailer offers the first glimpse of Atomic Heart 2, showcasing its retro-futuristic alternate-history setting where advanced robotics and AI have rebelled against humanity. As civilization teeters on collapse, players must intervene in this action-adventure FPS with RPG elements, available soon for PC and consoles.
The CUBE unfolds years after Atomic Heart's events within a mysterious floating structure. When bizarre occurrences emerge following its appearance, players venture inside this enigmatic cube to uncover its secrets and avert catastrophe. This multiplayer RPG shooter is also coming to PC and consoles.
IGN awarded the original Atomic Heart (2023) an 8/10, praising its ambitious atompunk vision: "A highly imaginative successor to games like BioShock that delivers remarkable achievements," our review stated.
Mundfish recently confirmed Atomic Heart has attracted over 10 million players post-launch, with additional DLC content still being developed.
