Get ready, Clash of Clans enthusiasts! The game is set to revolutionize gameplay with a groundbreaking update coming in March 2025. This update responds to years of player feedback and introduces one of the most substantial changes the game has ever seen, with many outdated features being phased out.
Imagine being able to launch back-to-back attacks without any waiting period. That's right, the training time for troops, spells, and siege machines is being completely removed! This change will make battles more fast-paced and exciting than ever before. Additionally, hero recovery time is also being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. These changes will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will maintain its current eight-battle limit per day.
This significant update aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, eliminating training time is the next step in giving players the freedom to play without artificial barriers.
As part of these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They'll be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
When real bases are in short supply, the new Match Anytime system will step in, allowing you to attack snapshot bases. These are preserved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles operate just like regular ones, where you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't suffer any losses. This system, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
To balance the increased number of battles per session, the update will adjust Trophy Curves by reducing the number of trophies earned from victories. Furthermore, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
