Instead of Kuttenberg City, embark on this side quest from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, located to the west of the city. It's time to showcase your blacksmithing prowess to complete "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
In Miskowitz, a quaint village to the southeast, you'll find Martha in the house connected to the forge. Approach her and inquire if she needs assistance. She'll mention needing someone skilled in blacksmithing. Respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to initiate the side quest, "Hush, My Darling."
If you haven't yet, you can also talk to the bailiff about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group. Conveniently, the bailiff is right next to Martha, providing an easy way to locate her.
Screenshot by The Escapist You may already have the necessary items for this quest. You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you could have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge. Once you've crafted the horseshoes, return to Martha.
Screenshot by The Escapist Martha will inform you that the horseshoes are for Victoria, and you'll volunteer to deliver them, keeping the quest moving forward. Victoria's residence is a short distance south of the forge. Upon arrival, you'll find her house empty, but a bloodstain on the floor when you open the first door on the left.
Investigate the bloodstain when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha and update her on your findings. She'll suggest heading to Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.
Screenshot by The Escapist Sigismund’s camp is south of Opatowitz. While on the path to the camp, you might encounter Matthew if you're still pursuing the Dry Devil quest. At the camp, locate the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention that a soldier named Black showed interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.
Screenshot by The Escapist Black will request medicine before assisting you. Provide him with a Digestive Potion to alleviate his food poisoning. If you don't have one, craft it and return to him. Wait a couple of hours for the medicine to take effect before he'll share information.
Black will disclose that he said something to Victoria, suggesting she might have retreated to the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.
Victoria is distressed, so engage her in conversation about the situation. Your dialogue choices here won't impact future events. However, if you managed to get Black to promise to look after Victoria, you can share this with her, offering her some hope for the future.
This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You can now continue with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
