The Primitive weekly challenge in *Phasmophobia* might make you feel like you've been transported back to the Stone Age, but don’t worry—cavemen didn’t have to deal with ghosts. This challenge requires you to complete investigations without any electronics, which can seem daunting at first. However, with the right approach, you can navigate this ghost-hunting adventure successfully.

The Primitive Challenge is one of the toughest weekly challenges in Phasmophobia, as you'll need to identify the ghost and finish your investigations without any electronic aids. This means relying heavily on your intuition and understanding of ghost behavior. The challenge takes place at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map with a layout that's easier to navigate. To fully complete the challenge, you must successfully conduct three investigations.
When tackling the Primitive Challenge, remember that you won't have access to electronics. This includes essential tools like Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, and Video Cameras. Sanity Medication is also unavailable, but you start with a full Sanity meter.

Your provided equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to prevent ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for protection. For gathering evidence, you'll have two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 "glowstick" UV lights, which double as flashlights. Additionally, you're equipped with two Tier 1 thermometers to detect freezing temperatures.
To succeed, focus on using your paranormal intuition to identify the ghost. Each ghost has unique behavioral traits, and understanding these can be key. Our no-evidence cheat sheet can help you recognize these traits.

To locate the ghost quickly, take advantage of the increased ghost activity in this challenge. If you're feeling adventurous, use the Ouija Board found in the laundry room on the first floor. Ask the ghost its "favorite room," but remember it will cost you 50% of your sanity. Always say "Goodbye" to the board to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt, especially important in group play.

When ready, choose 'Ready Up' and 'Start' to begin the challenge.
