Diablo Immortal's latest update, Patch 3.2: Shattered Sanctuary, concludes the game's inaugural chapter with a climactic showdown against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. Sanctuary has been transformed into Diablo's infernal playground, and after a two-year quest to collect Worldstone shards, players finally face their ultimate foe. Long-time Diablo fans will encounter familiar faces, including the returning Tyrael, and gain access to the legendary sword, El'druin.
World's Crown is the substantial new zone introduced in Shattered Sanctuary. This expansive area features unsettling visuals: blood-red lakes, gravity-defying upward rain, and menacing, jagged structures. The atmosphere is dark, eerie, and unsettling, making it Diablo Immortal's largest zone to date.
The centerpiece of Shattered Sanctuary is the epic battle against Diablo. This multi-phase encounter demands mastery of all acquired skills. Diablo unleashes his signature attacks like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, amplified by the power of the final Worldstone shard, making him more formidable than ever. A new ability, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of difficulty. Each phase requires precise reflexes and strategic positioning, with El'druin playing a crucial role in countering Diablo's devastating attacks.
The update also introduces new Helliquary Bosses, designed for cooperative gameplay. Challenger Dungeons add a fresh layer of challenge with randomized modifiers, requiring adaptability and quick thinking. The new bounties offer rewarding gameplay, providing challenging encounters and superior loot compared to other areas.
