Remedy Entertainment has officially announced that FBC: Firebreak will launch on June 17, 2025. This exciting new addition to the Control universe offers a session-based, multiplayer PvE experience with missions called Jobs. These Jobs come with varied challenges, objectives, and environments, demanding teamwork and adaptability from players.

FBC: Firebreak will be available across multiple platforms, including PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with a base price of $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99. Fans can also access the game on day one through PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium). Notably, this marks Remedy's first venture into self-publishing.

Additionally, Remedy unveiled the FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition, priced at $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99. This edition includes exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs such as "The Firestarter" and "The Pencil Pusher," along with the Firestarter Armor Set, Apex Revision (Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves), Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin, and the Golden Firebreak Spray. Owners of the base game can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for an additional $10 / €10 / £7.

The Deluxe Edition also features the Classified Requisition: "Firestarter," which offers a collection of 36 unlockable cosmetic items, including weapon skins, sprays, and armor sets. Remedy has introduced a new system called Requisitions, which rewards players with gear and cosmetics through in-game currency earned by playing. All items are permanently available with no limited-time windows or rotating stores.

For those seeking more customization, Classified Requisitions offer premium cosmetic items, including armor sets, custom voice packs, sprays, and weapon skins, which can be purchased with real money. These items are purely cosmetic and do not impact gameplay. You can find more details on how Requisitions work here.

Remedy has committed to ongoing support for FBC: Firebreak, with plans to introduce two new Jobs in 2025 and further updates in 2026. All post-launch content, including new Jobs, will be free for all players. While players can purchase cosmetics, these items will not affect gameplay and there will be no limited-time rotations or daily log-in requirements.

With multiple projects in development, including Control 2 and the Max Payne and Max Payne 2 remake compilation, Remedy continues to keep fans eagerly anticipating their next releases.
