Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, renowned for their Construction Simulator series, alongside publisher astragon, have unveiled their latest project: Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. This eagerly anticipated simulation game leverages the power of Unreal Engine 5 to immerse players in the high-stakes world of firefighting. Set to launch in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, offering an authentic experience of rescuing trapped citizens, battling various types of fires including electrical blazes, managing flammable liquids, and navigating dangerous scenarios such as backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. For those who enjoy teamwork, a four-player co-op mode will also be available, enhancing the collaborative aspect of firefighting.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite promises to deliver a highly realistic simulation with advanced fire, smoke, and heat physics that enhance the game's immersion. Players can expect to use "officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from industry-leading brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL." This includes an array of firefighting essentials such as fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, as well as personal protective equipment. Additionally, the game will feature "authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America," including models like the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, and the brand-new RTX, ensuring a true-to-life firefighting experience.
