Genshin Impact is embarking on its next major chapter. This isn’t just an ordinary update—MiHoYo calls it Genshin Impact Version Luna I! Called Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, it launches on September 10 and will deliver a year-long storyline for players to experience.
The standout feature is the new region of Nod-Krai, expanding Teyvat’s world and exposing lunar mysteries. You’ll be swept into faction conflicts, encounter three new companions, and wield an ancient power sourced from the moon.
Nod-Krai adds three new playable characters. Leading the way is Lauma the Moonchanter, a five-star Catalyst user who enhances the team's Bloom-related damage and can transform into a half-human, half-deer form. Next, Flins, a five-star Polearm user, deals massive damage with electrifying lightning strikes.

Completing the new character lineup is Aino, a four-star Hydro Claymore wielder. By using her inventions and finishing the latest Archon Quests in Nod-Krai, you can add Aino to your party at no cost.
With such a significant overhaul, it’s a challenge to cover all the additions in this update. For a quick look, check out the new Meeting Points feature. This lets you dive into the daily lives of your companions, uncovering deeper insights into their stories.
