Hades 2: Timed Exclusive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Hades 2 is set to launch on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. Although a specific release date hasn't been announced, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-awaited sequel will be available on PC and the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the original Switch, simultaneously later this year.

The announcement came after last week's Nintendo Direct, which revealed Hades 2 would be coming to the enhanced Switch 2. Supergiant Games has now clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch versions but will also enjoy a period of timed exclusivity on Nintendo's consoles.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team stated on X/Twitter.

It remains uncertain when Hades 2 will expand to other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
