Honor of Kings Regional Leagues Begin, World Cup Spot at Stake

As summer approaches, the excitement for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh intensifies, and the journey there for Honor of Kings competitors is now officially underway. The first of the Regional Leagues for Honor of Kings kicked off today, marking the start of an intense battle for supremacy across seven regions, from the Philippines to Brazil and beyond.

Each regional league is a fierce competition where teams strive to be crowned the best in their area and secure a coveted spot at the Honor of Kings World Cup later this year in Riyadh. The World Cup, known as the KWC, will feature 18 teams vying for the top prize. For the first time, these teams will include qualifiers from the Regional Leagues alongside the champions of the KPL Spring season, setting the stage for an unprecedented level of esports action.

The start dates for the various leagues are as follows:

• Indonesia Kings Laga: Group Stage (11th-18th May), Playoffs (30th May, 1st June)
• MY Honor of Kings League: Group Stage (18th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
• Philippine King League: Group Stage (11th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
• Wildcard King Series: Group Stage (16th May-1st June), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
• Major East League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
• Major West League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
• Honor of Kings Brazil Championship: Group Stage (16th-18th May, 22nd-25th May), Playoffs (31st May-1st June, 7th-8th June)
