What are Luma Eggs?

Initially appearing as Mysterious Eggs, Luma Eggs are collectible items on Luma Island. Incubating these eggs reveals Lumas, helpful creatures that enhance your farm and adventures. Each egg holds a surprise; the type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of excitement to the discovery.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are hidden in two primary locations: the island's Ruins and behind Shrine doors. Each Ruin and Shrine within a specific area contains one Luma Egg. The number of eggs per area increases as you progress:

Ruin eggs are found deep within each Ruin's chambers. Shrine doors require Tepid Offering Crystals, scattered throughout each area, to unlock, revealing a Luma Egg within a reward chest.

Hatching Luma Eggs

After collecting Mysterious Eggs, you'll need to hatch them. This often triggers a quest, the timing of which may vary based on your chosen profession. Construct a Luma Incubator using the blueprint purchased from Balthazar's shop (500 coins). The crafting recipe includes:

Combine Luma Life (crafted using various island essences) with a Mysterious Egg in the Luma Incubator to hatch a Luma. Unhatched Lumas appear as "Mysterious Creature." After a short wait, your new friend will emerge! Remember to pet your Luma to build your relationship before it becomes fully helpful on the farm.
