The highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds update is just around the corner. Starting tomorrow, July 23, the Festival of Accord: Flamefete seasonal event begins, introducing new quests, cosmetic items, and unique gear obtainable from event-exclusive login bonuses and quests. The celebration lasts for two full weeks.
The Grand Hub has been majestically decorated for summer, and even your Palico can join the festivities with the new Firebird Caparison Seikret Decoration. Forge special event equipment using tickets earned throughout the event, and enjoy complimentary vouchers for use at the canteen.
These tickets also allow you to craft the Afi α armor set and Felyne Afi α Palico equipment. Wearing this gear unlocks additional bonus rewards, including extra tickets and Beach Barrel Bombs. The event also adds a new nameplate, background, and pose for your hunter profile, alongside a tent customization item and new camp gear options.
During the event, you can see Alma in a Summer Poncho, Gemma in Summer Coveralls, and Erik sporting a Summer Hat, as Capcom reveals. And yes, there's even a water gun to complete the summer vibe.
The Flamefete DLC pack offers summer-themed outfits, a special pendant, a gesture, a sticker set, and a seikret decoration, all available in the store once the event launches.

Earlier this month, Capcom acknowledged player requests to make time-limited Arch-tempered monsters permanently available and has acted by adding Arch-tempered Rey Dau and Uth Duna as permanent hunts in Monster Hunter Wilds, starting July 23.
Capcom continues to address player feedback and resolve issues within Monster Hunter Wilds, despite reportedly facing harassment over the latest series entry. This permanent monster addition is a welcome change that shows the development team is listening, even as they roll out substantial new content like the recent battle against Lagiacrus.
