Hotta Studios' upcoming 3D open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its inaugural closed beta test. Unfortunately, participation is limited to players residing in mainland China. However, fans worldwide can still anticipate the game's release by following its progress.
Gematsu recently highlighted new lore details, adding to the existing excitement. Trailers showcasing the city of Eibon have already provided glimpses into the game's unique blend of the bizarre and the commonplace within the Hetherau setting. The narrative is also hinted to have a more comedic tone than initially anticipated.
Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the successful Tower of Fantasy), is aiming to distinguish Neverness to Everness within the evolving landscape of 3D urban RPGs. A key differentiator? Open-world driving! Players can indulge their need for speed by purchasing and customizing various vehicles. However, realistic crash physics add a layer of challenge.

Upon release, Neverness to Everness will encounter strong competition from established titles such as MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen), both of which occupy similar niches within the 3D open-world mobile RPG market.
