Meridiem Games, Omori's European publisher, has cancelled the physical release of the game for Nintendo Switch and PS4 in Europe. The publisher cited technical difficulties with multilingual European localization as the reason for the cancellation.

Delays Lead to Cancellation
The physical release, initially slated for March 2023, faced multiple delays, pushing it back to December 2023, then March 2024, and finally to January 2025. Pre-orders were subsequently cancelled, culminating in the final announcement. Meridiem Games declined to provide further details about the localization issues.
This news is a significant disappointment for European fans, as it prevents the official release of a Spanish and other European language versions in physical format. While the game remains available digitally, European players seeking a physical copy must now resort to importing the US version.
