Pokémon TCG Pocket Launches Lightning Event

For dedicated Pokémon TCG Pocket players, there's plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. With the next major expansion on the horizon, the game is ramping up excitement with a series of new in-game events, starting with the Lightning-type Mass Outbreak!

As a reminder, the latest expansion, Secluded Springs, is scheduled to launch this month. But first, several events are underway. The current mass outbreak features increased appearances of Lightning-type Pokémon in Rare and Bonus Picks.

This not only boosts your chances of obtaining Lightning-types like Lanturn and Tapu Koko but also lets you acquire brand-new visual flair for your cards through exchanges. The mass-outbreak event runs until the 31st, giving you ample time to dive in and start collecting.

All standard Mass Outbreak rules apply here. This includes completing missions by using Wonder Picks and collecting specific cards to earn shop tickets. If you’re aiming to expand your collection before Secluded Springs arrives, this event presents your best current opportunity.
