SEGA Stars Join Sonic Rumble in Historic Crossover Event!

Even before its global launch, Sonic Rumble is making waves with its exciting Crossover Event #0: SEGA Stars, which is live from now until May 7th, right before the game's worldwide debut on May 8th. Currently, Sonic Rumble is in soft launch and accessible in over 40 countries. It went through two pre-launch phases in 2024: the first in regions like the Philippines, Scandinavian countries, and Colombia, and the second in places such as Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, and South Africa.

What’s in Store?

If you're in a region where Sonic Rumble has soft-launched, you can now experience the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars crossover. Fans of Altered Beast will be thrilled to know that the Werewolf transformation is available for free. For those nostalgic for the beast modes, the Werebear and Weredragon can also be obtained. The Weredragon comes with the Premium Pass, while the Werebear can potentially be purchased using regular rings.

Adding to the excitement, characters from Fantasy Zone, Opa-Opa and Upa-Upa, are part of the crossover. Opa-Opa is exclusive to the Premium Pass, whereas Upa-Upa can be acquired through fragments, each costing 700 standard rings.

Super Monkey Ball's AiAi and MeeMee have also joined the fray. To get AiAi, you'll need to spend 729 Red Star Rings. For a visual treat of the crossover event, check out the video below.

Earn Exclusive Goodies During the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars Crossover

During matches, you can earn additional rewards by collecting SEGA logos. It might seem unusual for the event to be live before the global release, but SEGA has confirmed that most of these pre-release rewards will be available again in the future.
