Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to amass Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.
Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting this automatic conversion to prevent unused tokens from cluttering player inventories. This ensures players don't lose out on the value of their unspent tokens.
While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and considering the ongoing in-game events. This means the conversion will likely occur after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, can be used in various Timewalking events, with no planned removal of items purchasable with this currency. Players can therefore save their badges for future events.
