A WWE 2K24 content creator has unearthed hidden models within Patch 1.10, revealing upcoming additions to the roster. While surprise content additions are common – Patch 1.08 introduced new weapons, for example – this update appears to significantly expand the MyFaction mode with numerous unlockable characters.
WWE 2K24's MyFaction introduced Persona cards, unlockable characters usable across various game modes. This addressed previous criticism about exclusive models being confined to MyFaction. It seems 2K and Visual Concepts are actively addressing player feedback.
Popular content creator, WhatsTheStatus, revealed six new "Demastered" MyFaction models: Xavier Woods, Michin, Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, Bianca Belair, and Roman Reigns. While their Persona card status remains unclear, WhatsTheStatus confirmed a Randy Orton '09 model as a Persona card, showcasing the official card art. This Orton model will be a Collection Reward.
The patch also includes the Post Malone & Friends DLC pack, featuring Post Malone, The Headbangers, Sensational Sherri, The Honky Tonk Man, and Jimmy Hart as a manager. The sheer number of new characters makes this one of the most substantial updates since launch. Further improvements include model and entrance fixes for Becky Lynch '18 and Chad Gable '16.
Despite ongoing concerns about the difficulty of unlocking MyFaction Persona characters, the consistent updates are a positive sign. Previous teases suggested unlocking via MyFaction Oddities cards, but even these proved challenging to acquire, with some, like Trick Williams '19, still missing. Players hope for alternative unlock methods beyond card collection and Live Events.
