This version of MAME4droid emulates a vast array of arcade games and systems, including the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, and more, supporting over 40,000 different ROMs. It's important to note that MAME4droid is an emulator and does not include ROMs or copyrighted material of any kind. For support or inquiries, please do not contact the Mame team as MAME4droid is a separate project.
Designed for high-end Android devices, MAME4droid 2024 is based on the latest PC MAME version, which requires higher specifications than its predecessors. While it offers an extensive range of emulated games, performance can vary. Some games may run smoothly, while others might not work at full speed or may not be compatible at all, especially "modern" arcade games from the 90s onwards. Users should be aware that with such a broad library of supported titles, it's impossible to guarantee perfect performance across all games, and specific game support requests cannot be addressed.
To use MAME4droid 2024, after installation, you should place your MAME-titled zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder. Please note that this version of MAME4droid is compatible only with the '0.269' romset and not with romsets from older versions.
