- The SmartTyre Car & Bike app requires Bluetooth to be enabled. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), minimizing battery impact.
- The SmartTyre Car & Bike app requires location services to be enabled. However, it uses Bluetooth LE for sensor location, not GPS.
- While continued background GPS use can reduce battery life, SmartTyre Car & Bike only uses background GPS when explicitly permitted for optional features requiring this functionality.
