The Adnan app, a free offline Quran learning tool for children aged 3-12, has received a major update. Boasting over 10 million users, this award-winning app (King Khalid Prize 2021, Huawei Shining Star 2020, Microsoft Prize 2013, and more) now features the complete Noble Quran.
This latest version (10.3.0, updated August 19, 2024) includes:
- Complete Quran: The full 30 Juz' are now available offline.
- Enhanced User Interface: A redesigned children's control panel and 114 surah-specific backgrounds make learning engaging.
- Interactive Learning: Six stages of interactive games encourage memorization.
- Improved Repetition Feature: Repeat verses or clips 1-20 times.
- Motivational Features: Reward systems (stars, progress percentages, bonus points) and personalized profiles keep children motivated. A follow-up panel allows for progress tracking and comparison among users.
- Improved Navigation: Quick jumps between verses and selectable color themes enhance usability.
The app also includes an Adhkar (supplications) section and an Arabic alphabet nasheed (song). Long surahs download on demand, allowing for offline use after initial download. The Quran text is the digitally approved version from the King Fahd Printing Press Complex. The app aligns with Saudi Arabian and Gulf state school curricula and was reviewed in partnership with Maknoon Association.
