Niantic has just unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 extravaganza will span three days in three different cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
• Paris, France: June 13 - June 15

An Unforgettable Pokémon Experience

Pokémon GO Fest is renowned for its exclusive items, unique gameplay, and incredible bonuses. In-person events offer a truly immersive experience, with city-wide activities and unique encounters. Tickets are required for both in-person and online participation.

Expect the appearance of rare Pokémon typically unavailable through standard gameplay. Think along the lines of the 2024 event's Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow. Shiny Pokémon will also have increased appearance rates, strategically placed across event locations.

In-person attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges – perfect for connecting with fellow trainers! While details are still under wraps, expect a similar level of excitement to previous years.

Two More January Events to Anticipate!

Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic has revealed two more exciting events for January:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) – January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni! Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12 km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon will appear, and keep an eye out for a fashionable Croagunk!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) local time. Take on Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh! A $5 USD ticket grants eight additional Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, and a 50% XP bonus from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh will be more common, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, with a Charged TM.
