The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a redesigned app, offering a significantly improved and more user-friendly experience. Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Any citizen over 18 can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations. Operation is quick and simple: activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, engage the reporting feature. Reporting can be initiated via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically begin recording video and audio documentation of the infraction.

This documentation is then transmitted to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic expertise. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the documented driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded to the police for further investigation and action.
