The Pity System in RAID: Shadow Legends is a hidden mechanic designed to boost your chances of pulling higher rarity champions, specifically Epics and Legendaries, as your luck runs dry. In essence, the longer you go without pulling a high-rarity champion, the game incrementally increases your odds until you finally land a good pull. This system aims to prevent those dreaded "dry streaks" where players might summon a large number of shards without any significant rewards. RAID: Shadow Legends Pity System Guide

Sacred Shards

For Sacred Shards, the base chance of pulling a Legendary champion is 6% per pull. The Pity System kicks in after 12 pulls without a Legendary. From your 13th pull onward, the odds of pulling a Legendary increase by 2% with each subsequent pull:

  • 13th pull: 8% chance
  • 14th pull: 10% chance
  • 15th pull: 12% chance

Is the Pity System Helpful for the Average Player?

The effectiveness of the Pity System isn't straightforward. While it's designed to help, many players report that the threshold for the system to activate is so high that they often pull a Legendary before reaching it. So, the real question becomes: how can the system be improved?
